Horatio was bred to six ewes that are due to lamb in December 2008 and January 2009. These six are good quality ewes from the Arkansas line and the VSU (Virginia State University) lines. With Horatio himself being 100% VSU lines, we are very excited to see what he will produce. This picture doesn't do him justice as he is a deep copper red, but he is beginning to put on his winter wool so color is not so apparent in this picture. He is a large powerful ram with a wonderful temperament. It is fun to watch him interact with lambs and to see how gentle he is with his ewes. Horatio, along with his twin brother Quinn, and his pasture mate Fabio all have beautiful short tight coats. And of course, they have NO SCURS!
Inquiries welcome.
