Would you like to see what is on our farm?  The sheep are our main priority, but these
pictures show what you might see if you come for a visit.  Our granddaughter Becky,
her husband, Keith, and their four children visit us quite often.  Our great grandchildren
love to help with the farm chores as you will see.

The pictures above are several things you will see if you come for a visit to look at our sheep.
At this point, I would like to recommend a book to you that has taught us a great deal about
our shepherding
skills.   The title is A Shepherd Looks At Psalm 23 and it is authored by
Phillip Keller.  It is a wonderful book
that will show a new dimension in caring for your critters,
and if you've ever wondered about the significance
of such terms as "He anointed my head
with oil" you'll soon find out about that too.  It is a picture of Christ
caring for His sheep
(meaning us) with all the love you could ever imagine.  You'll learn what the shepherd's
staff was used for and you'll find out why He made His sheep lie down in green pastures
instead of
grazing them there. You will  learn why He made them lie down next to still
waters.  Give it a try, you
will be pleasantly surprised.  It is a Zondervan publication.  The
ISBN number is 0-310-26790-0.  This next picture is Mike taking the rams back to their
pasture after having trimmed their hooves.  You'll notice
one ram on Mike's left (that's Boris),
then Pilot and Amram are following behind.  Some people like to train their
dogs to herd
their sheep, some people like to train their sheep to follow.  What can I say?  We teach
our
sheep to follow us.
